A little Q + A

  • We are currently back in Alaska fishing for our sockeye and king salmon. If you would like to order please send us an email. Remember, we are out fishing so our response time will be a few days.

  • The Alsek River flows through Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve before emptying into the Pacific Ocean at Dry Bay, Alaska. 60 airmails from Yakutat, Alaska

  • The Alsek river is a glacial fed river. That means there are huge chunks of glacier ice floating in the river keeping the water temps a cool 38 degrees. The colder water temps naturally demand the salmon to have more fat content on their bodies making the flavor and texture of the salmon stand out from the rest.

  • There are many ways to cook your salmon. A few of our favorites are fish tacos, poké bowls, smoked salmon on the Traeger, and cooking it frozen when we are in a pinch for time! We need to get our recipes on paper but for now you can find great ways to cook salmon over at www.alaskaseafood.org
